LOS ANGELES, December 20, 2024 – Architect Equity (“Architect”), a private equity group specializing in the lower middle market, is pleased to announce the promotion of three team members: Eric Luoma to Managing Director; Brent Silverman to Principal, Head of Business Development; and Andrew Brown to Vice President.

Eric Luoma joined Architect in 2019 and has been instrumental in the firm’s M&A efforts and overall growth. Prior to Architect, Eric held M&A execution roles at CriticalPoint Capital and OpenGate Capital, with a background in Transaction Services at KPMG. His expertise in transaction structuring and negotiation, due diligence, and portfolio management has been essential to qualifying and executing on the firm’s investment opportunities. As Managing Director, Eric will continue to guide Architect’s M&A team and activities that support the firm’s overall investment strategy.
Brent Silverman joined Architect in 2020 as an Associate on the Business Development team, having previously worked in the commercial lending industry at First National Capital Corporation. In his expanded role, Brent will lead the Business Development team and manage the proprietary platform that encompasses the firm’s investment origination, qualification and relationship management processes. Also, Brent will continue to be active in industry events, networking activities, and ensuring the M&A community has Architect top of mind for relevant corporate divestiture and other time-sensitive transactions.
Andrew Brown joined Architect Equity in 2019 as an Associate on the Business Development team. Andrew’s involvement evolved into the M&A group as a Senior Associate in 2022, where his responsibilities grew to qualifying and executing on Architect’s investment opportunities. In his new role as Vice President of M&A, Andrew will continue to play a vital role in driving the firm’s M&A efforts, from new acquisitions to portfolio recapitalizations and realizations.
